Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has offered an unwell supporter a signed shirt and pair of his gloves on Twitter.

The Spaniard replied to a Tweet from Crystal Palace ladies’ player Ciara Watling asking for support for the 18-year-old.

De Gea has been praised on social media for his heartwarming gesture to the young fan.

The Manchester United shot-stopper went above and beyond to look out for Jordan.

As well as promising her his gloves, he also sent a signed Manchester United goalkeepers top.

The 28-year-old sent the Kent Football United goalkeeper his gloves from his 250th appearance for the Red Devils.

This landmark came against Crystal Palace on Saturday which he marked by keeping a clean sheet.
